Abstract
With regard to find out proper selection of solvents, which ate essentially necessary to have a data base of nursing intervention, this study is being done, through observing degree of tissue injury and period of repair by antibiotics intramusculaz injection mixed with tlifferent solvents in rat.
After injection of 6mg of fortimicin, which was dissolved in O.15m1 of distilled water or normal saline one, into the rat gastrocttemius muscle, degree of tissue :injury and period of repair were also observed by every-day-basis.
The result of this study were as follows
Taking into consideration degree of tissue injury and period of repair by antibiotics intramuscular injection mixed with different solvents, degree of infiltration of inflammatory cells were shown higher while using distilled water as a solvent than normal saline one. After 7-day of injection, however, in terms of recovery of tissues, inflammatory cells were disappeared when normal saline was used as a solvent, but focal monocytic cells were infiltrated when distilled water used.
And in order to check out severity of pain using different solvents, 20 person of subjects were tested through injection normal saline or distilled water one into right or left gluteus maximus. And after the injection, degree of complain of pain were compared simply. The subjects of all 20 persons(100.0%) have complained more pain by injection of distilled water than nonnal saline one.
